6.) Once you have entered your mobile number in the provided field, click on the “Send SMS” button. You will receive a verification code on your mobile number.
7.) Enter the verification number on the next screen and click on the “Verify” button. Alternatively, you can also verify your mobile number via the calling option. For that, you will need to click on the “Call me” button instead of the “Send SMS” button.
8.) Once your mobile number gets verified successfully, you will see a “Success” message on your screen. After that, you will also be prompted with the “Create app passwords” option. This feature is required when you are using apps such as Outlook, iOS mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc. as these apps don’t support two-step verification feature. In case you used any of these apps, you will need to click on “Create app passwords”. If you are not using any such apps, click on the “Skip for now” button.
